State of disrepair in the hallway and bathroom

- The elevator was broken when we first arrived to the hotel, and there was no porter to help us carrying our bags to the 2nd floor...! - The window outside the room is filthy... Left-over food, dirts, and champaign corks. - The salad at the breakfast downstairs was full of sand...! I complained to the waiter, and to the lady at the front desk of the restaurant, but I don't think they have delivered the message because on the next day, the salad was not that clean again. We ended up having some serials with milk for the rest of the days... It was a waste of money to pay for breakfast. - the Wi Fi did not reach our room at all during the whole stay... We were only able to use it in the crowded lobby...?!

Elegant lobby in an historical setting, with clean rooms at a very affordable price. Good wi fi after 11 pm, and great restaurants.

Rooms somewhat small; but fairly priced, considering the location.

Nice staff, good location, books, good breakfast, relaxed atmosphere
