Shilo Inns Mammoth Lakes

Good location, clean rooms, friendly staff

Linens are very outdated and need updating. (curtains, bedspreads) Breakfast was very minimal. More healthy items needed - fresh fruit (fruit was old and bruised), peanut butter for toast, whole grain cereal and breads.

Location in town

Check in time was 4, but arrived at 3 and decided to see if room was ready by chance. Was told no, so we said we will be back at 4. Arrived at 4 and room was not ready. Front desk person excused himself to check why not and upon coming back said he had to stop the housekeeping crew while they were leaving the motel for the day and told them thay had to stay to clean the room. So our room was not ready at 4 and we had to change for a pre-arranged dinner at 5. The front desk person made it almost sound as if we were lucky he was able to catch the housekeeping staff. My wife wanted to go crazy at this point but I contained her, although I proably won't be as successful in encouraging her that we book again with Shiloh due to this avoidable issue. Driving back from dinner my wife was worried that the room would even be ready at 9 pm, given that the front desk knew we would be back at 4 pm check in time earlier that day and the results. All and all, the situation was handled very badly in several ways.

The staff was very friendly.

I spent most of my time with my daughter and new grand baby. They live 1 mile away.

There were several things that usually come with a hotel. Daily newspaper even though the inside information packet says there is. No bottled water available in the room. The TV is so old and the choices to watch are way out dated. The towels were as hard as a rock and the soap given is terrible. There was no paper or pens available. No closet. The carpets appeared to be very old and warn out.

Rest in the room despite near the shipyard and the church.

I has gotten no room for my hotel bill from the mission statement for my company because I have posted on your agency. The bill I get from you I was told. Is that so??

Nice place, good location.

Liked the shilo inn at klamath we stayed at the night before. They have the restaurant and sports bar at their location.

Hotel was clean and room was in good condition.

Too few soap bars and additional towels would be helpful.

Everyone was so friendly and helpful. If I needed anything they were right there to make it happen, GRRRRRREAT!

The bed was very uncomfortable. I almost called for another room. Should have. Please felt rundown. Sheets on bed had static cling.
