Novotel Liverpool Centre

The location was perfect for the shops and docks.It is a very clean, the beds are very comfortable,the breakfast was excellent and the pool and gym were brilliant.

City centre location ideal for all attractions and shopping. Food was very good and reasonably priced. Staff were very friendly and approachable all in all a very pleasant experience.

Car parking was confusing we where given a discount ticket which the machine chewed up and we where left having to pay the full amount for our stay.

I enjoyed staying at this hotel because of the location - it's perfect for when you arrive from the airport via bus.

What I didn't like about the hotel this time round was that I had specifically booked a double room for a wheelchair user and when I got to the hotel it was automatically assumed that a wheelchair user doesn't use a double bed so we were given a two single beds instead (and yes the hotel was empty when we were checking in because we were the first people there when the chaeck in started). I don't know but maybe the hotel staff should realise that wheelchair users get married aswell like everyone else instead of assuming your wife is your assistant carer - would have been nice to get what I paid for instead of having to look at my wife from the other side of the room. The other thing I noticed about this hotel after staying a few times now is the condition of some of the rooms - for a four star hotel, I wouldn't normally expect to see the the carpets in the bedrooms, ripped up, stained or even burned not to mention one of the minibars fridge was ripped away from the wall with broken furniture around it. I'd certainly think twice about using hotel again and I believe there are better options available with better quality but all in all not bad.
