Quality Inn Liberal

The room was fine. Breakfast buffet very good.

The night desk staff was very rude, his name was Jay. He was fine to the male in front of me at check in but didn't even tell me where the room was located-when I returned to ask he looked down his nose at me like I was stupid and said its inside the door and down the hall to the left. I asked him this building or the next one? He sighed deeply-again making me feel stupid-and said this one. As I pulled into a parking space he ran by us to hurry to help a man with something. When I reported him at the front desk on checkout, the nice young lady said she was sorry and I asked if the manager was in she said he is the manager also said they have had a lot of complaints about him but everyone is afraid to say anything because they will lose their job. This is not acceptable for a person who deals with the public.

It was good.

Service was good. Rooms were neat & clean. It was easy to get in & out of. I had a front room & was not bothered by road noise. Overall stay was very pleasant.

On our return trip we had a room that was very clean and smelled good. We enjoyed the stay.

On the first part of our trip our room (I think 121) was smelly. It was clean but the rug smelled. Also the computer had double booked our return stay, so when we checked in, we asked the clerk to remove one of them. The clerk said she couldn't but after a bit of prodding she decided she could.

Leaving Liberal...stench is tough to put up with. No fault of hotel.

Bed's were like sleeping on rocks.

The furniture in the room was/is beautiful! The breakfast is done extremely well! The receptionist at the counter was very friendly and tried to be helpfu.!

I did not like the fact that I had to be assigned a room on the 2nd floor! Also the stair way was very very dirty! After the rain during the night the some of the dirt was removed. However, when you want to sell your house the realtor will tell you that the front door area should be exceptionally clean. That area is the first place that prospective buyers will see. There is a corollary here.

The Breakfast with the stars was very informative. Well done. Reservation made by staff were excellent and even when we needed changes they were made with no problem.
