Location-Its across the street from Lake Geneva and great view.
The free "breakfast" was lumpy milk that caused coffee to curdle and sat on top of the cereal, stringy orange juice ,industrial size canned peaches poured from a 64 0z. can ,mini muffins that were stale, etc. I dumped the food and would have preferred a $5 reduced rate.
Also the old curmudgeon guy in bad 80's clothing that walks up to your car as you enter the lot is very creepy and causes you to lock your door. Apparently he is there to "greet " you and validate your parking but a simple "hello" and "I work for Harbor Shores" would be 100% better.

The breakfast was terrible. No fresh fruit - nothing gluten-free people can eat, except canned peaches. In the room, the coffee service was just on the counter, including packages of sugar - no basket - no niceties of service. Not inviting. The tv picture was blurry, although it had a lot of available channels, which was good. The sliding windows had no screens, so dangerous - and lots of big spiders in the window linings, when we opened. Scary.

The location was perfect for experiencing any activities planned. The hotel was quiet and rooms were comfortable.
I found the pillow top mattress was too soft for my personal taste and comfort. I'm used to sleeping on a firmer mattress.

The view of the lake from our room was awesome. We enjoyed there being mostly adult guests, which allowed us to enjoy the pool and whirlpool.
There were people talking loudly in the hallway around midnight. We realize you cannot help this, but we just thought everyone should be respectful of other guests.

It was so close to the beach and downtown.
There were quite a few bugs in the outdoor pool
