Close to UC Irvine
The pool area was beautiful.
The hairdryer was not functional and blew sparks, then the outlet was not functioning. They were responsive to bringing a new hairdryer.
the meal delivered to my room did not have the requests ordered.
I called the front desk staff to get directions to the closest ice machine. They directed me to an ice machine by a certain room number that was NOT an ice machine and I then had to go to back to my room, call them again, and then go to another floor to get ice.

We had a wonderful dinner and drinks by the pool in the bar. Lots of atmosphere. This is a lovely, smaller hotel that is well appointed.

Great help from staff in getting me checked in early in somewhat trying circumstances and in general. Jessica in particular.
Absence of something on which to rest my suitcase while unpacking and packing. I had to use the floor since I did not want to put it atop the bed.
