Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Ms. Barbara Rose checked me in and welcomed me and checked me out in a personal way. She later assisted me with driving directions after I had my cell phone stolen at the airport event I attended. She made my Doubletree experience feel like I was staying with family.
I work for a non-profit and because of the early morning event I attended at IAH airport, needed to stay at a hotel close by. The cost of the Doubletree was shocking, just under $300 for a one night stay. The price is the only thing that I did not like about my stay.

It was close to the airport, nice and quiet and rooms very nice.
The restaurant did not have a very good choice of food, and being so close to the bar it was very noisy at times.

There seemed to be not much sound proofing... we could hear everything going on in the bathroom next to us! And the powerflush toilets are way too loud! It took away from an otherwise decent quality experience. I felt like I was sleeping in my neighbors bathroom.
