Very helpful staff, easy street access, great food, quiet rooms

The restaurants were very good. The food, service etc was great.

Ease of checking in and out. The many eating places and the quality of the food. All staff members were excellent and very helpful.

Extra charges were really nothing extra, just more ways to get money, many places in hotel unable to get Internet. Have to stay in your room? Entrance to rooms inconvenient. Then again because they make you walk, through casino, it's probably good for you.

It was relatively close to the airport since we were coming in on a late night flight.

Food at the Feast Buffet and Oyster Bar was excellent. General hotel cleanliness was also great. Low table minimums at $5 were appreciated and made things more fun and accessible. Also, my 12 year old son was with us because of a baseball tournament in the area and we appreciated there being some kid-friendly activities (arcade, movie theater, etc.) on the premises. Ironically, several friends on his baseball team actually left their more pricey hotels (Mirage, Venetian, Ceasars Palace) on the strip and drove out to Sunset Station to gamble instead because they could safely leave their kids in the kid-friendly areas that those other hotels didn't have. The kid-friendly stuff brought your hotel more casino business!

The dealers, with the exception of "Linda" at blackjack and "Joshua" in the poker room, weren't particularly friendly and acted like they didn't want to be there and didn't care if players won anything or had any fun. They definitely did NOT enhance the experience. The poker room dealers need to speak louder and more assertively, too, as I consistently couldn't hear several of them (I'm only 41 and definitely don't have a hearing problem). They mumbled too much and it was hard for all of us to hear their calls in the general casino noise around us. Also, the bartenders at the round-shaped bar close to the poker room and sports betting room were rather indifferent and disappeared on multiple occasions for a longer time than normal, leaving no one to pour anyone drinks. In more than one instance the bar had less than 10 people in it, but we had to wait almost 10 minutes for service because the bartender had left his post.

Everyone was so upbeat and friendly. Any questions we had were answered right away and they were very glad to help. The beds were awesome. I have never slept in a bed so comfortable. The dining experience was great and the food very delicious and reasonably priced. Thanks for an awesome stay!!! We came over on the Laughlin Transit Shuttle and we come quite often for the day. I would highly recommend and have recommended a trip to Sunset Station. Thanks for a great experience and I look forward to our next stay.
