Friendly staff. We enjoyed the guitarist who performed in the lounge. I viewed housekeeping cleaning a room and they appeared to really be working hard. They too, were friendly and helpful.
We stayed at the Grand Vista a few years ago and enjoyed out stay. Good location. This time was not as pleasurable for various reasons. The room had an unpleasant odor. The chair in the room was soiled and I did not want to use it. The bath towels were so thin. Overall, it seemed that the rooms need some updating.

It was convenient to both the interstate and also not far to travel downtown.
Could use some renovating as well as some newer, fresher bedding.

The people that work there are always friendly and helpful. The food is great and the staff in the bar/restaurant are always awesome.
