Knights Inn Grand Forks

I had stayed at this hotel before and was completely satisfied. I like the reasonable rate. The ammenities are great. The breakfast room is really a nice place to eat.

Location was nice. booking online was nice. breakfast selection was nice.

The young man at the desk didn't think twice about issuing me another card for my room as I got locked out. I would think there would be policy for just GIVING a person a door key. My room was 201 which was right by the steps AND the 5:30am alarm of the waffle make was a little to much. Consider moving the waffle makers further in the kitchen to help muffle the sound. The room was dirty. Bathroom hinge coming off the door. The A/C seemed to not work so opened window. Great fresh air....fresh diesel air! Bummer as it was nice and cool outside during my stay. A young gal came to clean up the kitchen and all she did was brush the crumbs off the table....leaving the sticky mess and chairs not put in place....this young gal put in no extra effort in her job. Bummer - work with your employees to want to do better at their job and help make your business better. Don't let it be the "norm" to allow workers to sluff etc.

I appreciatethefact that we could leave our vehicle in your care while on our vacation. Also staff were very understanding about letting us check out later since our flight did not leave until 7 pm.
