The Howard Johnson Gothenburg was an excellent place to stay. The low price was the best feature, but everything was very good. It was a friendly and comfortable place to stay.

We were so pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It was so clean and spacious, with ultra comfy beds. Being in a smaller town like Gothenberg made it so easy to get off and back on the expressway, and the next morning we took advantage of the Pony Express museum in the city park.

Very helpful staff (Megan?)..helped me move rooms when former smoking room was still smoky smelling
Would appreciate just a little more variety in the breakfast

Front desk staff were friendly.
The bathroom was appalling - mold in the toilet, dirt in the shower & tile grout. We skipped breakfast due to concerns about cleanliness.

The rooms where nice.
No fruit or yogurt or current newspapers, and when I asked for printer paper he said yes and never returned.

The swimming pool.
The doors wouldn't lock or unlock. After cleaning the staff left the doors unlocked.
