From the moment I checked in I was made to feel very welcome. Staff delightful, friendly and efficient. Lovely big room and wonderful bed! Good choice at breakfast. Pleasant bar for drinks and bar meals.

Due to current road closures there was very noisy traffic nearby with 'boy racers' until late in the evening. However, with the window closed the room was well soundproofed.

Conviently located in downtown area. Friendly staff at hotel reception and breakfast area.

Limited parking space at basement and charging 7 pounds every time you leave the car park. Inefficient air conditioning inside room being unpleasant for hot summer times whereas the window that can only be opened for a small gap.

Good Location

The 6" mattress was so uncomfortable, almost like sleeping on camp bed. The carpet gave an appearance of being heavily soiled, but was informed that the markings were due to the type of pile. Access to the toilet was very restricted. Noise from the aircon units on roof top.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff at every level. Very effecient breakfast experience(everything topped up and tables cleared) plus welcoming staff. We would certainly recommend to family and friends.
