A lovely hotel with a great atmosphere, well placed for the Hydro. Staff were extremely polite. Would stay here time and time again!

Liked the refurbishment in the foyer and bar area.room was fine. Staff professional and attentive Will be back for sure.
Was surprised to receive frozen chips as an accompaniment with my meal.I expected fresh in a five star establishment. I work for compass group so am fully aware that potatoes are currently expensive. I am not making a big deal of this, just not what I expected from a quality establishment

Staff were excellent in every area. We had a problem arriving for breakfast late, due to the clock in our room being wrong, but without hesitation the problem was resolved, quickly and courteously without making us feel as if we were the problem.

It was fine but a hicough occurred when we went for breakfast and were told that it was not included. I retrieved a copy of my reservation confirmation and showed it to Hilton staff. They stated a mistake had been made with the reservation of one of the 3 rooms that I had booked. I acepted this and had a good breakfast.
I phoned the hotel to change a booking for one room from single occupancy twin to double occupancy but was told to do it on-line which I did when I gained access to the internet. However I felt staff on the phone at the hotel could have dealt with this matter at the time.

Comfortable bed,comfortable arm chair in room,power shower great,good sized bath,breakfast..very nice,
Window did not open in room, struggled with no fresh air.
layout of room very similar to premier inn, drinks at the bar were very expensive,because of the above i would not stay in the hilton again.

The hotel was lovely. Staff were helpful and friendly. Room was clean, tidy and well maintained. Enjoyed our stay very much.
The hotel was easily accessible and within walking distance of the city centre. The accommodation was lovely and clean and comfortable.
We didn't dislike anything although perhaps some more coffee/tea/milk sachets in the room would have been appreciated.
