Love staying at the Varscona. Great location, lots of little things done right. Doesn't feel like your staying at a chain-hotel. It's unique.
My only complaint is the shower (not a big deal). Very nice, open shower, but water pressure is low and seem to run out of hot water early.

Terrific location on Whyte Avenue. Very comfortable bed, good breakfast, helpful staff. Very well decorated lobby, easy indoor access to Starbucks.

The staff were friendly, the location perfect and the bed was amazing.
We were on the 6th floor and like a cooler room to sleep. We lowered the temperature and opened both windows before going out for the evening and still could not get the room cool enough to be comfortable. Sad since it’s such a great place to stay. We will try for a lower floor in the future.
