The evening clerk went out of her way to help us out. Our original reservation had been with the Airport Super 8. We were not notified it was no longer a Super 8. Our reservations were not transferred to the AmericInn. She called Super 8 to make sure we wouldn't have a double charge. She gave us the same price quoted by the Super 8.
Quite a shock to learn we did not have a room reserved. Very upset with Super 8 that they did not notify us of the ownership change and give us a chance to make new reservations. I will never book a room at a Super 8 again wherever we go. That was very rude. We also drove around and around and around and could not find the Super 8 where we had booked our rooms - Finally stopped at another hotel and were told the name had been changed to AmericInn!
