It is a beautiful, historic hotel with a lovely lobby and nicely furnished rooms. The restaurant, The French Room, is
first class.
Our room was really dusty since there was construction and painting going on.
It seems like the rooms should be better inspected before they are given to guests.

We thought the breakfast bar in the lobby is a good idea....very friendly staff.
Also, Brian in the Rodeo Bar and Grill was good. The food was very good there as well.
The Hotel needs a complete remodel. The bathroom was dirty...the sheets are too small....my wife and I are not that big...we stayed in a queen size bed....and the sheets kept coming off. I don't like sleeping on a bed when I can see the mattress. The furniture is worn out....and dirty upholstery on the chairs. The lobby chairs are dirty, and worn out upholstery as well.

Courteous staff
Need ice machines on floors. It is a pain to have to call for ice all the time. Restaurant for breakfast was very expensive considering the food presented. No special menu for low cal, diabetic, or gluten free.

Everything, our room awsome, clean!!, the over all Adolphus Hotel go's right up there with hevan on earth!!! We felt like the King and Queen of the Hotel of the 21st century. If God needed a place to stay The Adolphus would be the most perfect spot on earth!

The people were very nice and competent
I have a suggestion. I think that in the French Room restaurant, one should be able to order off the full menu at the bar, or nicer restaurant should be open other than the Rodeo bar. As a frequent business traveler, I am usually alone, would like to have sampled the food at the French Room, but did not want to get a table. I was told they would not serve off the menu in the adjacent bar which I am not sure makes sense. Otherwise, I enjoyed the hotel very much. Thank you.
