Staff was friendly and concierge tried to help with providing a shuttle to go to the OU - Texas football game (see below). Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Breakfast at the Terrace was good.

The shuttle drivers were nice and I'm sorry to have to complain, but when we were dropped off at the OU-Texas game, we were told to meet one hour after the game "where the limousines park. After the game, we asked four policemen and/or fair park officials and they said there was no place where limousines park. We ended up walking everywhere and finally met up with the shuttle, then because most could not find the shuttle, we spent one hour in the shuttle while the owners tried to find the missing riders. Finally, they brought us back. We received no apology from the hotel and I think we deserved one. The carpet and upholstery in the room were not clean. We were very unhappy when we got our bill and discovered we were charged $19 per night for parking in self parking!!!

The room was very clean and spacious. The amenities at the hotel were superb. Loved the artwork on display. The SER Steakhouse was excellent for dinner and the Terrace was very nice for breakfast.

The self-parking lots were full after a concert on Sat night, had to use valet parking. If there is not enough room for self-parking, which is expensive enough, then valet lots should be made available for the same price.

Lack of staff to check in or out. There was only one person at the receiption desk. It is unreal that Hilton managment would not have appropriate staff during big events that draw guests to the hotel. Someone dropped a salt like substance Friday evening on the floor oustide the elevator on the 8th floor and the mess was still there Sunday when we checked out. For an expensive hotel I would think the floors would be cleaned on a daily basis and recieption area staffed to meet demands.

The bathroom layout was great. But the lighting is awful for putting on makeup (as with ALL hotels).

$17 per day parking fee is ridiculous. I thought I was getting a pretty good deal on the room rate, but then, when I was hit with the $34 parking fee! I was furious. I only stayed one night, however the parking fee, was for two nights because it was after lunch when I drove my car out of the parking lot. NOT A HAPPY CAMPER!.

I booked for the night of 30 to 31 December and charged me the credit card € 54, with the price of the room, on that date, 39 €, such as AI is announced from the same website chain of hotels.
