The Marriott hotel was the nicest hotel in Charleston WV in the 90s. I was surprised how old and even smells old it was.There was a nursing home on the 4&5 floors. Sad:(

FRIENDLIEST STAFF I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED. LOCKED MY KEYS IN CAR AND THE STAFF WENT OUT OF THEIR WAY TO HELP.

No drink machines on each floor. No safe in the room for valuables No microwave

Close to shopping and restaurants
Someone left feces in the pool and the pool was shut down for cleaning. Reason we booked this hotel was because of the indoor pool. When I complained to the staff we were told basically,"Tough, it happens!"
