Whole atmosphere was very nice.
The air conditioner was under the window, and I prefer central heat and air; however,it worked well and kept us cool with minimal noise.

The staff is very friendly and most accommodating. The breakfast was well presented and very tasty. The price was much higher than we have ever had to pay in Carlsbad, but the facility was spotless. If there is a Fairfield Inn, that is always where I choose to stay. I have never had a bad experience.

Rooms were very well done!
1. Hotel location is too close to highway 62/180 thus you hear road traffic all night from roooms that are on the same side as highway... very bad expereince. 2. Bed was so soft that I awoke with sore back... this was a new bed! Beds should be much firmer!

Had everything we needed - comfortable bed, shower, guest laundry, gym, pool, free coffee and complimentary breakfast, and conveniently located. Ideal!

I was greeted very well. The only issue I had was the AC was pre-set and could not get the room real cool, it was pre-set at 68 degrees.

Yes, we thouroughly enjoyed staying at Fairfield Inn & Suites. Everything was wonderful and we will definately stay in a Fairfield again!
