Ramada by Wyndham Burbank Airport

Everything was close. The staff were very aware .

There was a spider in my bed. The shuttle could not take us to the airport at 5:30 am

The service was very friendly and helpful.

The room, although clean, was very run down and old. When I opened the cabinet door under the sink there was a large dried up water stain and the portion of the cabinet against the wall had fallen off and you could see into the wall. To start the water in the shower, you have to pull the knob away from the wall. It was almost impossible and when I pulled it the tile wall actually started to pull away. I had to push the wall in and pull the knob very strongly to get the water flowing. I'm sure an elderly person would not be able to start the water to take a shower. The safe in my niece's adjourning room did not work and one of her door locks was missing. A lamp in my room did not work. Finally, my mattress was terrible. It sagged very badly, so much so that in the morning I awoke with a sore shoulder. I had reason to visit the Burbank Marriott. I was shocked to see how modern, clean and professionally run it was. Everything about it was nicer, except perhaps the service which I cannot comment on. I stayed at the Ramada because the rooms were $20 cheaper per night. Next time, I'll spend the extra money.

The staff was wonderful and the location is ideal for us. The onsite restaurant serves quality food and service. We have no complaints.

Our only wish is to have a microwave oven in the room to heat up late night snacks.
