Festive n very accomodating friendly young staffs working gracefully on desk, lounge... nice n quiet near shopping n perkins restaurant. Ample parking space n non smoking room.

Main reason for choosing The View Inn & Suites: Rate
We stayed due to a power outsage due to Hurricane Sandy. It was Halloween, and the hotel was having a halloween party for kids. The other kids were dressed up and my 5 year old was very sad b/c we did not have her costume at the hotel. The staff put together a costume and put makeup on her. It was very sweet of them.
During check in, their was a long line of people trying to get a hotel room. The man at the front desk seemed very flustered and rude. I cant complain though, because the hotel had just gotten power back and they were trying their best to accomadate people who bought rooms already online.

The staff was friendly, professional and helpful.
Some of the furniture in our room needed replacing, chair, lamps. The bedding could be improved, perhaps comforters instead of blankets and spreads.
