I found the staff to be very friendly and helpful. The facility is obviously in neeed of some refurbishing but they are doing just that. Our room was fine and the refrigerator and microwave in eahc room is a real plus in my book! The convenient location at the interstate exit was great.

The room had ants all over the floor, I also thought there should have been flash lights to give all of the guest and not just leave them in the dark.Overall with the power outage I guess I felt we should have gotten iether a free night or part of our money back.The TV also was not every good.

Staff was very friendly.
The air conditioner, it is the most annoying sound, very loud, every time it came on, i woke up. I would recommend this hotel but not for the summer months, unless of course the heat makes a noise also.

Staff was friendly.
Motel was lacking in amenities and upkeep. They did not disclose that they were undergoing renovations at the time of booking the room, and the whole hotel was torn up.

The receptionist was very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was good.
Check-in was supposed to be at 3:00 p.m. We did not get in our room until 5:00 p.m. Sat in the parking lot with two kids for two hours. The pool was extremely small. Not kid friendly if there are more than a couple adults in there. The pool area stayed unlocked all night. Not safe for children. The website should point out the size of the pool. The bathroom was somewhat clean, but the corners on the floor were caked with dirt.

We loved the location. It was close to all that there was; food, interstate, shopping, etc. We loved the price, and we also loved that our guest check-in was simple.
Yes. We did not care for the broke-down refrigerator; the out-dated rooms; and, the older-than-life television; and the ugly pool that you could not swim in. I believe that Howard Johnson's needs a face-lift!.
