Main reason for choosing Great Residence Hotel: Location
Close to the airport; clean and comfortable- good quality for the price! Great for overnight transit- planning to book them again for my return trip which also has an overnight layover in Bangkok.
The driver didn't display the sign with the hotel name on it, so I was wandering around looking for the shuttle for quite a while. Since there were several of us on that trip, it took a while to gather everyone since no one could see the sign. Not sure what was up with that, as I later noticed he had a sign, but had set it down where it couldn't be seen.

Main reason for choosing Great Residence Hotel: Location
Good location relative to airport. Tea ok ok transportation.
Poor restaurant. Staff continued to sit and listen hard rock hard while it was clear that the few invited guests do not appreciate Konder. Not very friendly reception staff.

Very close to airport, complimentary shuttle service to the aircraft or to the bus terminal. When ztom quiet enough. Near a lot of Thai food.

Basically, its value is what I would recommend. The free in-room wi-fi would always appeal to me as would the free airport shuttle. The room was spotless.
As with most hotels, the checking of the mini-bar when you are in a hurry is annoying (I never ever use them). But I would not make this a specific criticism of this hotel. I did not get or expect lifts for the price I paid. Nor would I expect a great view.
