Convenience of location.
Had trouble adjusting the heat in the room. Called the desk for assistance. They said they could not call in a maintenance person if the temp control did not work but I would have to move to another room.. Can't follow that logic. The room would have to be checked eventually.

Have stayed here before and would return. It's an old facility, but kept clean. The staff is typically quite friendly. Lots of casual food places in the vicinity -- Friendly's, Sonic, Dunkin Donuts, a diner, etc. Room had mircrowave and refrigerator. Definitely seen better days, but is clean and doesn't smell musty.
In this stay, I was in a non-smoking room where someone clearly had been smoking. It wasn't bad enough to change the room and it was the last night of my trip. I reported it to the front desk who took it seriously and said she would make a note of it in the file so I would not be held liable for it.

It was reassuring to know that we had a nice place to stay while in the area for 3 days where we had a clean room,could get a good nights sleep,and also being a pet friendly motel made it a big plus. We have stayed there other times in the past and have never had any problems and will most likely stay there again on future vacation trips to that area.
