Breakfast is good,staff works hard,managers reception is understaffed ,too much waiting,but good overall
The spaces are very tight in parking garage,some of them are obstructed by colums,not easy to park full size car or even a small suv,be careful.

I did not like the fire alarm going off at midnight. Outside vendors such as DJ's working private parties should have strict guidelines as to appropriate props, (i.e. smoke devices) so the entire hotel isn't incovenianced.

Staff was freindly, positive, immediate in communicating with us whenever we were in their presence. They all had smiles, cordial & happy tones in their voices not just with us but with others.
The pillows were ABSOLUTELY awful - they were hard, inflexible causing me to toss and turn throughout the night trying to become comfortable. However, because of the other positives I will return again, BUT will bring my own personal pillows.

Staff at front desk. Location. Layout
Exercise room was very average, many hotels have this area with windows, cutting thru the pool not ideal.

Close to the metro for going into Washington. Area around the hotel in Alexandria was fun to explore. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was great.
