Main reason for choosing Hotel 81 Bugis: Rate
Room is so clean . Easy to go shopping near BUGIS Junction and Suntec .. 15 minutes walk going to MERLION and Esplanade .
Toilet is clean but it's hard to take a shower no rubber slippers while taking a shower . No Rag to be used after taking a shower. I need to use plenty tissues to wipe may feet. Price is high without breakfast . I can still recommend your hotel but I have to tell my comments.

The clean room and staff ok.
I have seen some prostitutes in the hotel!, The sound: HORRIBLE; not possible to sleep (alarm + children + prostitutes). The bathroom: not shower. The price is very expensive for this, NO.

Main reason for choosing Hotel 81 Bugis: Location
Hotel 81 Bugis is centrally located, luckily the location is somewhat quieter than, for instance, the Orchard Road area. Hotel 81 Bugis is within 5-10 minutes walking distance to the Bugis Junction Shopping Centre, Bras Basah Complex (ideal for book lovers and all of those bookworms), to Raffles City Shopping Centre and to CHIJMES complex (our favourite spot in Singapore). The hotel does not carry out any meals services, but within 5-minutes walking distance there are at least 3 'kopi tiams' and food courts.
The room is tiny and windowless, we were a bit surprised at that.The room is basically a box with a bed and bath. The good side of it is that we were forced to explore the city, rather than being enticed to spend too much time in the room.

I like the convenient and feel safe travelling alone.
The noises of next door construction was annoying.
I find it very hard to get taxi.
