Nice country hotel close to St. Emilion.

Late breakfast was served on the beautiful garden terrasse
-SPA: Jacuzzi(cold!) and Hamam/Sauna is only available for an extra fee which is to high at € 30 per visit! - Sound insulation seems insufficent. We got a call from reception to turn down the volume on TV at 23:00 while watching CNN at normal listening level. The request was made because the people in the room next door claimed that they could not sleep.

We really enjoyed our stay at this exclusive castle! We had a wonderful view from our room on the vinyards of Saint Emilion, and the room was very luxurious. Furthermore, the staff was very friendly, and the restaurant was excellent. We also enjoyed the spa very much.

It would be nice if, instead of putting two beds next to each other, one could have one king size bed in the rooms for couples.

Impressive and well located.

The meals were excellent and good value.
The room was a little dark with a rather boring view over the vinyard, it was situated over reception. It was a good size and comfortable, but we believe it was one of the less desirable rooms. We thought it may be because we booked the 'Spa Package' which seemed the best value, and now we know why!
