We liked our room with the window looking over the square through the red geraniums. The market set-up was a little noisy but mostly an interesting part of experiencing Europe. We loved The Netherlands.

Excellent location in downtown, friendly and helpful staff, good parking in garage.
Old rooms, very hot and stuffy in the rooms. Relatively expensive compared to the quality (compared to my experience in other hotels.

Location
I think the price you pay per night really disproportionate. The interior is outdated (furniture, curtains, bedspreads). There is no breakfast included and there is little luxury to a room.
