The carpet in the first floor looks old and in need of change.

I have styd each year with you since you opened and have a good idea what I can expect. Some things havw changed. (see below)

The restaurant service continues to deteriorate. Expensive and apalling value for money. Eating at the Bisson next door is a positive pleasure but they are sadly now closed on our date of arrival for Courson. Our treatment in the bar was intolerable. We weretold to wait until she had served food in the dining room by a young woman who is temperamentally unsuitable for work in a public area. It made us question not just using the bar again, but even returning to your hotel. She completely spoiled what has been for years an enjoyable break. I was relieved when I heard it was her last night. The damage that a member of staff with such an 'attitude' can do is frightening. Trust me, the hair in the plastic cover of the spare pilow, was a trifle by comparison.
