It's a completely modern hotel in a recently restored building, the best of both worlds. There is a fine bistro just below the hotel on the ground floor.
A few of the ergonomics of the room were lacking. No wastebasket in the main room, no place to hang a towel in the bathroom.

The desk staff was overwhelmed at times. It would take 15-20 minutes to just ask a question

Location, restaurant, nice bathroom, view of the square.
It would be very nice to have a safe in the room. You could not stay here if you couldn't climb stairs, no elevator. Hotel is a little noisy, but worth it for the location.
