Good value budget hotel near freeways for drives to beach, Adventura Mall and downtown
If you are not used to heavy traffic noise at night, beware.Hotel is ex Holiday Inn and needs updating. Annoying that wireless internet facility only available in lobby.

The location for the hotel was convenient to the highway. The housekeeping staff did a great job with what I considered limited room potential and resources. The housekeeping keeping staff person resolved a minor issue with the hair dryer quickly and professionally.
The was a free continental breakfast offered but it did not start until 7:45. By that time most business travelers have already check out. So again the hotel cheaps it way out with there customers.The beds were clean and comfortable but each bed only had 2 extremely small pillows and there were no extras. It's too bad, with proper management, this hotel could be so much more. It is far from being a "boutique" hotel.

The gentleman from Jamaican Heritage, I cant remember his name. He was very pleasant and helpful.
Apart from the Jamerican front dest clerk, I personally think that you need to seriously look into the condition of the hotel and its cleanliness. I will be brutally honest to say that I was appalled by the scent of the hotel. This place can be in a much better condition. Just imagine, I walked outside and an insane man is asking me why was the caution signs around the hotel. I have to admit that I am truly sorry to be this honest but I do travel a bit and I have to admit, it was the worst scent I have ever encountered in any hotel. Thanks for asking and sure hope you all do something about it. Apart from the scent, I dont mind staying at the Golden Glades again.

The location was perfect, also the overall cleanliness of the hotel was very good.
The only thing that i did not like was the mandatory purchase of the in room safe box, i think it should be optional, other than that it was a good stay.
