Campanile Dijon Marsannay

The Hotel was basic but adequate for a simple stop-over.

The on-line photos do an excellent job but are a little deceptive! There was no Bar area for pre-dinner drinks. There was an additional charge that we were not made aware of on the on-line booking (Some form of residency Tax??). The attitude of the receptionist on the morning of departure (Sunday 16th Feb) was almost hostile - certainly not customer service focussed. On the saturday night the evening meal was curtailed because the staff wanted to go home. The choice of main course was limited to one side order because we were a family and friends group of 15(??!!) I was the only French speaker in the group and got the distinct impression that we were not particularly welcome at the hotel.

De kamer was vies dit keer. Heb ik ook aangegeven. En wat het eten betreft, vond ik ook tegenvallen. De bediening was ook niet goed. Je had je laatste hap genomen en ze namen je bord al weg. Met andere woorden: opschieten want wij willen de tafel vrij hebben zo snel mogelijk voor de volgende klanten. Het was ook allemaal te gehaast wat de bediening betreft. Nee, dit keer heb ik het niet als goed ervaren. Volgende keer ga ik hier in ieder geval niet meer eten. Qua verhouding vond ik het erg duur.

The bath was a death trap slippery as ice no slip mat or other, dirty linen stuffed in wardrobe, the lock fell to bits as we went to go out, half an hour to get out, the noise from the upper rooms started a three in the morning, chairs dragging on hard floors as people started to leave in future ill chose an upper floor room, or better still carpeted rooms,

La galère pour trouver l'hotel du au fait que l'adresse parc sud actisud Marsannay la côte est impossible à trouver même avec un tomtom !! Il peut trouver le "3 rue des Alouettes" mais Actisud à Marsannay qui se trouve en réalité à Périgny, on a eu beaucoup de mal à le situer !!

Used a few Campaniles recently found them all to be good value for money usually easy to find staff friendly, some are more tired than others but worth the stay for a night or two overall good, beds very comfortable.

Unfortunately we could not use the reservation, by the illness of my wife, who could not travel. We have communicated this hotel. m.vr.gr.

Very unhappy about the fact that we had paid for the room and told us that it was not paid! He had returned by mail the invoice to be paid back in a second time!
