NH Brussels Airport

I liked the fact that it was adjacent to a train station, that gave easy access to Brussells.

Yes: 1. The shuttle to and from the airport basically doesn't operate at weekends. One of the reasons I decided to stay at the hotel was ease of access to the airport on Sunday, but the shuttle did not operate on Sunday mornings. 2. The timetable and fare schedule for the train service provided by the hotel was inaccurate. The trains did not run at some of the times specified, and the fares quoted were incorrect. 3. It was not made clear to me that breakfast was not included in the price of the room. While the price of the room was quite low, I feel that we should have been advised that breakfast was not included. I was quite suprised to receive a bill for breakfast at 20 euro per person as the quality of breakfast did not merit such a charge. On the plus side: the receptionist did deduct one day's breakfast price from the bill.

The staff at reception was very friendly.

In the fridge in the room stood a few drinks with an expiry date.

Excessive noise in the corridor. I was assigned a room (number 45) on the ground floor attached to two consecutive ports in the corridor that were excessive noise and fought very strong interrupting sleep and rest. I am frequent user of the NH and for the first time was very disturbed.

The peaceful environment

The location close to the airport and train station.

The top of the bathroom divided and bedroom was quite dusty. So was the Bed Heardboard!!! Not a pleasant sight especially from such quality hotel. The bathroom door did not close and therefore steam was going into the bedroom part. No shuttle service during week end to and from airport. Pedestrian access to the main intrance could be improved.
