I think it would be helpful if you told clients when booking that the hotel becomes overun with travelling football supporters from the Netherlands and Ireland when Liverpool are at home. Consequently the noise level in the corridors from 3am to 6am in the morning is very disturbing.

Fine for a mass-markey hotel. The meals were OK (quality) and expensive. The imppression was heinz tomato canned soup and a spagetti warm up. I feel I paid £30 plus for £3.00 worth of food. The breakfast on the other hand was very good indeed - amongst the best. Staff good. Tiny loo jammed in a corner (tell me - do any of the Hotel managers ever try out the rooms they sell?).

WE came for a 30th birthday celebration. The staff were the friendliest most helpful staff I've ever met. The room was clean modern and comfortable. The breakfast buffet was well stocked and had a great choice which catered for all our tastes.

Very enjoyable experience. The hotel ambience and decor excellent. Good choice of food on the menu. Staff were very helpful and obliging as I had mobility problems and they catered for my individual needs. One very small niggle, only left one biscuit with tea/coffee, also no drinks in the mini bar.

Hotel Excellent - real value for money and great breakfast too! Unfortuntely hotel never received my booking so weren't expecting me - I was informed that this was becoming a regular incident. So if you visit as a busy time - beware! On the upside the hotel had a room available.

Great hotel; only 2 problems; 1. The hotel post code makes the sat nav take you under the Mersey tunnel, so you have to pay, turn around, pay again and then drive back; very annoying... I suggest you give the name of the street that the car park is in! 2. the car park was hard to find. We drove past it without seeing the tiny sign (up and to the right), turned left where there was a 'P' sign, only to find a closed, shuttered car park. We ended up parking miles away and getting a taxi as it was raining! These little things spoil the experience... Alan Griffiths

Check-in desk unattended, member staff on phone to friend, told come back later in the day as room not ready. Given standard rooom, when booked Executive room, was told that no other rooms available. Booked on-line, had receipt of booking, only then did a room become available.
