The price can't be beat. The staff was great. The room was very nice and roomy. I stayed on the OGDEN St side (even number rooms) and heard no noise from Freemont St. The 24 hour Subway inside the hotel was very convenient for breakfast. The prime rib special in the Café was delicious. Only 2 blocks from the Freemont St Experience where I would walk dinner off each evening taking in the sights. Did all my gambling at the El Cortez and found the machines to be very forgiving. Would definetly stay there again.
The non-smoking room was a bit of a pain but bearable.

Nothing. I would never stay at this hotel again. It looked and felt cheap. The food was awful and tastless. I have been to Vegas many times over the years and this is the first hotel that I have felt very uncomfortable. I walked around the casino without making a bet and went to my room and didn't leave until it was time to check out. THANK GOODNESS!

It was reasonably priced, if booked in advance and walking distance from down town and the light show. Great location.

My wife and I liked the fact that everything we needed was right there. The casino was very nice and it was easy to get on the slot machines or one of the tables. The slots seemed to be a lot looser than those at the big name casinos. The staff were all very cheerful and made the stay a very pleasant experience. The location provided easy access to the strip and we enjoyed being close (walking distance) to the Fremont Experience. You absolutely could not beat the price for the room. When my wife and I come back to Las Vegas, you will see us again!
No swimming pool, but we would not have been doing much swimming anyway.

We loved how close to the Fremont experience the hotel was. We also liked how easy and convient parking was for the hotel.
The television in our room was messed up. It kept turning off while we were watching something. The shower was nice, once we figured out how to control the temperature. It was a little difficult to get the water temperature at an appropriate setting. It was either scalding hot or freezing cold. We eventually got the hang of it though!

PRICE AGREEMENT TO THE QUALITY IS VERY GOOD AS WELL AS THE ATTENTION. THE LOCATION WAS KNOWN NOS So I knew where we were going and we like what all I have to say is that IN THE LOBBY WAS NOT WHO HAVE NOT SPOKE ESPAÑOLY FREE WI FI FOR PASSENGERS .-

I have now stayed at your hotel for 2 times, both for business. The first time I used Cafe Cortez which was very busy and not so organized. The staff was working really hard to keep up with demand. I had excellent service from Ricardo. Not so excellent attitude from the cashier the next morning when I used my debit card for breakfast.

Excellent value for money. Travertine and granite were nice touches in baths.
Used valet the first time and when my car was returned it had a flat which was not brought to my attention. Found out only after driving about 5 min. north to Lake Mead Blvd. Tire had crease in it which meant it had been flat the entire time I had it parked there (over 24 hours.) Tire had to be replaced, couldn't be repaired.

The hotel is not very expensive, but we were given rooms in a lower class and to compensate instead of making us pay the cheapest room we were given coupons for $ 25 per room for use in restaurnats Hotel's forcing us to take our meals on the spot when we wanted to go ailleurs.Les rooms we had were clean and just a very minimal cofort
