Relaxed friendly attitude of staff especially on front desk and the sourdough cafe

Inspite of staff and security doing their best to keep the grounds tidy there was always pieces of litter blowing around - guests not always responding to the staff effort

Price is a ten if you prebook your reservation by third party. Plus it is a two separate bedrooms hotel.

Boulder hwy & Nellis blvd is central to Flamingo rd and main casino's. Sams Town is largest casino near intersection. RV option is good.

Food and casino are good and staff that I did deal with are great. Parking was not an issue. Price fine, but I'd pay a little more for better level room. See next comment.

TV is poor, too old and also very limited channels. The carpet in my room was so dirty my white socks were black on the bottom the 1st day I walked without by shoes. I'd recommend the hotel to people that want a good price or like to have smaller crowds, but would hope the cleaning people would clean carpets better.

The hot tub didn't work

Well I made a mistake on my reservation since I was there for a softball tournament and thought I had ordered a suite with a bed in each room but in fact had accidentally ordered a suite with only a bed in the bedroom. The lady was very nice and said she would check and change the reservation for the type that I wanted. But sadly nothing was available. So I asked if they would deliver a fold out cot to my room and she said sure not problem and the cot almost arrived there before I did. There were a few items missing in our rooms and house keeping was very pleasant and remedied the situation very quickly and with a smile. The room was cleaned all three days with nice new fresh towels for us, not the typical motel towels but real nice fluffy towels... great job. Also the ice machines were working all the time and always full.

Nothing bad about the hotel.. the casino could sure use an air purifier as it is so smokey it is hard to breathe. I did not gamble there for that reason. I went down the road for my gambling.

The Sour Dough restaurant had good food at good prices. Liked having a downstairs suite. Convenient to the Kindred Hospital where our relative was located. The room price was good.

The buffet was a waste of time and money. The food was limited compared to other casino buffets and the price was very high. We had better food at the Sour Dough Restaurant at half the price. When I asked an employee what the cocktail sauce was for as there was no seafood on the buffe, he replied some people put it on everything. We stayed in room 1603 and the shower temperature control was very, very difficult to turn and came on way too hot. I couldn't turn it, my husband had to.

Very nice room--best I even stayed in

We always like to stay, as we are usually able to have a a room close to the casino entrance as well as on a ground floor and close to our vehicle. We do have hip/knee problems so appreciate that. Even though not a new facility, it is always clean and very comfortable.

It would be wonderful to at least have a small coffee maker in the room. We wouldn't mind supplying the fixings, just to be able to make a cup of tea or coffee before retiring or first thing in the morning would be so nice.
