Have used this facility on many occasions and it has basic but reliable consistency of accomodation for an overnight stop. The accomodation is inferior to the nearby Ibis, but this Capanile has an excellent restaurant facility which makes it first choice every time
The external appearance of the rooms is deteriorating and the rooms are lacking basic maintenance. The inside door jammed against the floor and judging buy the scuff marks this did not happen yesterday. This made the door very difficult to open. The shower head riser clamp was broken which meant an adult could not stand under the shower(kneeling)only. These issues are typical of a good facility which relies on its reputation for business and ignores basic principles - it will impact upon business eventually.

The rooms are basic but clean, an ideal stop over.
The exterior of the buildings is in need of a coat of paint!

Just an overnight stop in an ideal location having just come off the ferry at Cherbourg.

As always it was a happy stay. The staff were extremely warm and welcoming with a good sense of humour.
We look forward to a further visit next time we use the Cherbourg crossing.
