The Cityview - Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong

The location is fantastic, i've no trouble in finding shopping place. The staff are all very polite and knowledgeable of the surroundding.

Generally, a good and clean hotel with convenient location.

The quality of the standard room does not comply with the expectations as can be derived from the beautiful lobby, coffeshop, etc.

We found the YMCA a pleasure to stay in. Our room, though small, had everything we needed. It was clean and comfortable. The only time we ate in the restaurant was the buffet dinner and it was fantastic--a wide selection of foods to taste. Also, it was very handy to the Metro and shopping.

I felt the rooms were very small even though we had a superior room and the hotel did not supply tea or coffee without a charge. Also l think the bathrooms needed a bit more attention.

Polite staff that to their credit, can disagree with you with a smile. Location is ideal for connections. Plumbing is a little jaded, though only on one occasion was the hot water flow 'surrrrprising'. Good sized room. Only downside is a lack of complimentary coffee/tea sachets that even cheaper hotels often provide. Nevertheless, I will return to this Hotel in my next trip. Unless I find something better at similar cost.
