Amari Koh Samui

Close proximity to the beach, we did not need to wait for a buggy - we were right on the beach. Long beach, ideal for walking and running. Close to good restaurants, car rentals and shops. No nude sunbathers, especially since we had our children with us. Snorkeling was not bad right in front of the hotel. Breakfast was excellent, good variety, fresh fruit was abundant, not 5 star, but very good for 4 star. Service was friendly, especially around the pool. Most people complain that the mattress is too hard. It was quite hard, but I was not uncomfortable. Excellent service overall. Arriving at the airport at night, they had someone waiting for us as we requested.

On the advertisement the sea looks transparent and turkoois (and that goes for every resort in Thailand), but it did not look like that while we were there. That was disappointing.
