Strata Hotel

Was a convenient stay for overnight after having a late afternoon doctor's appointment and not wanting to drive 401 after dark.

Continental breakfast and great service. Microwave and fridge in all rooms.

Accessibility and the included breakfast was very good, but the service lacked something.

The staff were courteous and friendly and the room was clean. We had a room in the back and it was very quiet for sleeping.

It is quite dated and would need to be renovated and modernized. The location is not the best as you can't walk anywhere but the price was reasonable, much more so than the downtown hotels.

The location of the hotel suited my needs

The hotel advertises free high speed internet services for customers, but I was sadly disappointed, the connection to their server was hit and miss. At one point, I was allowed to use the computer at the front desk, as I needed to process an urgent internet bank transaction, and was totally unable to access their server at the time. One person told me that they were trying to get their service upgraded, another told me that some rooms have poorer connections than others. The coffee pot in my room did not work. The corners and edges of the carpet were not properly cleaned, and the room was not properly dusted. The continental breakfast could definitely use improvement, some of the muffins were terribly stale.
