Very convenient with the location to the airport and food courts there. The staff were very professional and helpful.

Not really but I would have liked to be asked if I minded to be put in an handicap room first before just assigning me that to that room because the setups are a bit different in showers for instance.

It's location was very convenient.

The staff at the reception desk are excellent. Friendly, efficient. After a long haul flight (of 24 hours) I am always looking forward to arriving at the City Lodge where I know exactly what to expect--comfortable, clean facilities, and friendly professional staff.

I have been traveling for business and pleasure for over forty years. I really appreciate good accomodations that are connected to airports. Many of them fall short in many ways when it comes to convenience, comfort, service, and the attitude of the staff. City Lodge does not fall short on any account. Everything was excellent. Your hotel has challenged my previous favorite - The Sheraton at Malpensa Airport in Milan - for top spot on my list. You are on the airport property, but not so close as to be noisy with either people or airplane traffic; your staff is superb-all smiles and willing to help; the rooms are good sized, the beds comfortable, and amenities more than adequate; the price was quite good compared to many other airport facilities. Other hotels that serve airports would be smart to study what you do so they could improve their services to seasoned travelers and rookies alike. I plan to bring my family to South Africa so they can enjoy the wonders of your country...I will use City Lodge facilities everywhere I can on that trip. Thank You. You are a wonderful reflection of the best your country has to offer visitors.

The only thing I would say could be improved is the restaurant menu for dinner. It was not bad food, but a very limited number of choices and the food was a bit too much like airplane choices. But...we do not travel for airport food...but for all the other services so you still deserve an excellent review!

Could smell cigarette smoke coming through the AC in our room. Reception staff were very pleasant but the check-in and check out process seemed to be very time consuming and involved a lot of paper
