Grand Hotel La Cloche Dijon MGallery

We stayed two nights, one on our way traveling to the South of France and one on the return journey. We had stayed the year before and thought the hotel was lovely, so returned again this year.

Greeting and reception staff was excellent. I wish I could remember the name of the young girl who handled our booking because she was just brilliant. (I think it was Stephenie) We were on a 4 week self drive tour of France and it was a real luxury to have a nice big room. The location right near the old city made walking very convenient. The location to the train station was nice as we chose to deliver our car back to the hire company and take the train to Paris so on checkout we did not have to take taxi as it was just a 3 minute walk down the hill to the train station. In total during our 4 week stay in France we stayed in a big (and expensive) city apartment in Paris, a bed and breakfast in a little village (forgotten the name) and hotels in almost all major locations but we decided this hotel was our favourite. We did not eat in the restaurant so cannot comment on the quality of the food.
