Main reason for choosing Chateau d'Urspelt: Rate
Extremely High Standard restored old Chateau. The room was very nicely interior decorated and emitted a sense of tranquility and relaxation. There is a wellness center at the hotel ... however upon arrival everything seemed ti be booked. Reception wanted to accommodate us by giving us a try with a late check-out. Breakfast is everything you ever wanted.The restaurant food and service were of a high standard and quality. We are planning to go back. This stay was a last minute pass-by. We were pleasantly surprised by the personal attention to our anniversary.
Crossing the courtyard from the restaurant to the room. We were very reminded of the fact this is a rural area.
That is to say ... the working farm at the end of the castles courtyard is a minus.

Just about everything. We really enjoyed the atmosphere in the castle. It is all new, clean and tidy. Staff very friendly, not pushy, very helpful.
One negative point I found that the breakfast tables were not cleared immediately. There were always just enough tables covered depending on the number of guests are present, I suspect. So if you have breakfast a little later, you have no choice where you want to sit, you just sit where it is secured, and the other tables are full of stuff than the other guests because it was not immediately (even after a half hours) to be cleared .... that was unfortunate.

If you few days in a particular hotel to stay then Chateau d'Urspelt a very good choice.
Beautifully restored castle, well furnished rooms and a beautiful, spacious private sauna which you can reserve one or more hours.
At the bottom sheet of the bed is an extra layer (to protect the mattress), which ensures that it is very hot.
