Hôtel Le Donjon - Coeur de la Cité Médiévale

Centrally-located, nice, but acoustically badly engineered: you can hear all your neighbours are doing. The central location is fine if you are travelling by train / taxi, but is bad if you are travelling by car since you have to park outside the walls.

Location, location, location !!!! We were overwhelmed by Carcassonne and the hotel was an excellent place to stay.Our room was not large but perfectly adequate for a short stay. The bed was very comfortable and tea and coffee making facilities were provided.

The parking system that have not recommend it if you want to go out during the day as you leave the Cité before 10:00 and you can not go into the Cité until after 18:00 pm and the parking is very bad for you. In the evening we returned to the 01:30 and had to wait over half an hour with three other clients so that we open the night porter. We were biting all the doors and windows, calling to get in the door and at the bell. A disaster! Not charged us two nights of parking as a consolation, though we loaded the breakfast without having done, if I do not notice.
