The Bristol Hotel

Very attentive and professional staff.

En-suite very small, almost dangerously so, I wonder how many staying have come a cropper getting out of the shower? Some attention to detail also - although generally very clean the wc seat was loose, the basin plug had adjusted itself to not drain away (I rectified!) and there was a mouldy smell present which suggested to me the trap needed emptying. I do not have a bathroom fixation incidentally but having stayed in many international hotels I expect excellence when I am paying top dollar. The room was otherwise fine. We opted for the English breakfast but disappointed that for what seemed a great deal of money that it was buffet style and hence not as hot as we would have liked, well cooked though. In less grand establishments I have had much better freshly cooked and hot breakfasts for less than half the price. I would stay again though - but probably skip breakfast!

Just about everything about the hotel was good! Ambience, decor and general quality feel about the hotel. The Staff in all areas were particularly friendly and very professional.

Lack of power sockets adjacent to a mirror!!!

We liked the peace and quiet. There was no banging of doors or raised voices to be heard at anytime throughout the night

It would have been great if breakfast was provided in the price.

The room was well furnished and equipped with all the usual additional options - internet access/television.
