OK for a two day city break

The kitchen of the hotel is very nice
Quality of room No. 421 were undersized (bulb wall / dangerous - shower rod was loose). I have the impression that weekend packages with a serious price advantage, the almost disused rooms given. Champagne was provided, was forgotten, but she rarely bring the night before departure at 23h30!! Requested repairs lamp that was hanging loose after strong protest made

The hotel is ideally sited in the heart of Bilbao. If you travel by car make sure you can get a car space in the hotel car park. Driving in Bilbao might be a challenge if you are not used to. Walking distance to everywhere even to Guggenheim Museum.

Very clean, and service-minded staff. Helpful bell-boy immediately after our arrival to take care of the luggage. Very nice bathroom. Large, comfortable beds. Near city centre.
Try to avoid room 220. I mentionned at the reception in the morning of our departure that some music could be heard all night through. Like a back ground music in an elevator. It was very anoying. The staff did not seem to know about this but of course you cannot expect either that they tell you they are aware of it! I believe this is a back-ground music played through the hotel some place. It should be cut off at 12:00. The stay would have been 100% without this problem.
