Main reason for choosing Gran Hotel Barcino: Location
Excellent location, right in the heart of the Gotic area and close to both the Ramblas and the sea. The Sagrada Familia is a little further away but easliy accessible by metro.
A bit picky perhaps but the bathroom could do with updating.

Nothing, really, but the staff was taciturn and it was no problem for us, they took care of it all professionally.

Convenience to the metro, nice area and good restaurants
The main lift was out of order and the service lift was slow. The room was very basic and proximity to the lift made it noisy.
