Convenient to Motorway without having to negotiate a town. Comfortable bed. Useful to have a microwave downstairs to heat up a snack.
Arrived late once and had trouble finding the slot for my credit card - in a dark corner and not obvious at all. Noise from the road can be intrusive, though the hotel itself always seems quiet.
Lone female travellers might feel a little insecure not having any staff around at night.

Value for money, but need to accept noise from road traffic
I am disabled and have previously stayed in a room arranged for disabled access. This I had requested and it was confirmed. On arrival the Disabled room was used as a Store room. Another room was made available which was not prepared for use by a disabled person. It was not a comfortable stay. The Disabled room should not have been confirmed if it was not available.

Generous breakfast, friendly atmosphere in the house
