The welcome by the receptionist, friendly staff, always ready to help and explain the way round the hotel. Food delicious, well presented, Would have liked more time to explore the grounds which did look inviting.

The bed was very comfy.

*The pool was cold. *The drinks were too expensive. (Over £11 for a pint of Shandy and a Rose wine) *The room service menu was too expensive. £5 tray charge is ridiculous. A simple steak sandwich and a few floppy chips ammounted to £20!!!!! *Room 5 was very noisy. Every time the water was turned on there was a very loud noise like a heater or something.

Excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Superb quality food excellent value for money.

Stairs and corridor to room cold due to doors at bottom of stairs leading outside to second block of roms.
