Main reason for choosing Hotel Diamond Chico: Location

I didn't have much interaction with choosing or dealing with the Hotel, it was a family gathering and I just followed along. Others in our party sorted out breakfast reservations (there was some concern that our breakfast would be difficult on Easter Sunday morning) and any other potential problems - I had a good time with no problems, everything got worked out just fine.

I was surprised to learn that the hotel was a reconstruction, virtually all new! Not a problem, just a slight disappointment. Breakfast was good but not great, but I'm not a breakfast person (maybe I should have been drinking with my breakfast in the bar!)

They upgraded our room when we arrived. It was close to downtown. Rooms were very open and comfortable.

The restaurant and bar were closed on Monday night.

Rated facilities a 7 because the lock to our balcony door didn't work. Also there was only one robe in the room for two guests.
